How to RDP to your Work Station

 

1)      Log into SBCS (Citrix) https://access2.ca.gov

2)      Go To your list of Applications and click on RDP Desktop OTECH .

 

 

3)      Put in your Work Stations Name or IP address.   Click the Connect Button.

 

 

You should be able to connect to your Workstation

 

Note: if you want to use Multiple Monitors within a Single RDP session, Click Show Options.

 

 

Navigate to the Display Tab and click the checkbox – “Use all my monitors for the remote session.”

Then you can click the Connect Button.

 

 

 

If you don’t know the Name or IP Address of your Target Workstation -  Continue

You should obtain this from your Workstation prior to trying to RDP into it.

 

Open a command prompt on your Workstation.  Holding down the Windows Key, Click the Letter R.

 Then type cmd then click OK

 

Type hostname then hit Enter.

 

 

It will return the Hostname of the Workstation you are currently on.  Save this so you can RDP into when needed.
