How to Change Your Password in Server Based Computing

Log in to SBCS and Click on your UserName in the Top Banner.

Select the Change Password… option

 

 

The following Window will pop up stating that after a successful Password Reset, you will be logged off and you will need to log back in. 

Click Continue.

 

 

Enter your current Password in the Old Password Field,

Then Enter your New Password in the New Password Field.

Then Enter your New Password in the Confirm Password Field.

Click OK.

 

 

Once your old and new passwords have been accepted, your password will have been changed.

If successful, you will be notified as such and subsequently logged off.

Log back in with your new Password and Newly Generated Passcode.

 

New Password must meet Password complexity requirements:

Must not contain the user's account name or parts of the user's full name that exceed two consecutive characters

Must be greater than 8 characters

Contain characters from three of the following four categories: Example Password1

English uppercase characters (A through Z)

English lowercase characters (a through z)

Base 10 digits (0 through 9)

Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)

(Example. Password1)

Complexity requirements are enforced when passwords are changed or created.
